The Lost Horde. - Dryblood - 09-17-2011 Founded in the year 850AD by a group of shunned knights, The Lost Horde was founded to storm a fortress holding a snitch that spoke wrongly about there crimes, as times advanced and so did the clan, the members where Sons of its members and the chosen skilled few asked to follow. The horde turned to guns although keeping there medieval name, its forces stayed loyal and during both wars was also part of the fight, Although not much praise was given to there attempts in the war, they classed them selves as hero's. With nothing left in there current city they set course for EvoCity, a city filled with violence and corruption but also a gap in the clan industry, currently lead by one of the best in the whole of Evocity, this band of brothers set out to become the best that there is. TLH Business Since the year 850AD, The Lost Horde has had to continually expand into business ventures in order to gain financial security for the clan. In more recent years, since the 1800s, this has been less about ensuring that TLH could just afford weaponry and a place to stay, but has expanded into one of the largest corporations both in and outside of America. Initially, in 1819, large scale business began as TLH bought out four large plantations in America, and gradually became giant players in the cotton and nicotine businesses. This quickly lead to expansion across the entire world, from the Great British Empire to India and Japan, where they dominated the global market chains in manufacturing and food produce. During the Victorian Era, TLH bought out several factories in Great Britain, where they further increased their presence in the manufacturing business, until they became the world's first corporation to sell automobiles. Over the years, TLH has continued to expand into new business ventures, such as transportation, medical retailing, military-grade weapons production, casinos and, more recently, the birthing science of basic augmentation technology, such as advanced cochnea and synthetic liver implants. TLH Research As The Lost Horde gained incredible monetary wealth due to their business division, they set up their second public branch, TLH Research, to develop brand new advanced technologies to improve the world. TLH Research is composed of several different partitions, such as Medical, Geological, Space Exploration, Advanced Materials, Anonymous Materials and Particles, Biological, Social, Nanotechnology, Bio-engineering, Chemistry and Augmentation technology. In all of these disciplines, the TLH Research division has excelled in pushing forwards new advances to technology and vastly increasing knowledge, although some is not known to the public eye. TLH Research has a huge amount of high tech research facilities, some not known to the public or even major governments, spread across the globe. They were involved in the building of the Black Mesa Research Facility, which is actually a division of TLH Research, although it is not known in public. TLH Research also often works together closely with the research divisions of FUMUKU International, especially the medical divisions. TLH Military Little is known about TLH Military, however, it is obvious they have extremely good funding thanks to TLH Business, and that they are using the most advanced technologies developed by TLH Research. Small units are often seen to be guarding the other division's ventures in the public eye, but no-one is quite sure as to the extent of the size of TLH Military, although it is suspected they have gigantic facilities out of the public eye, as occasionally advanced jets have been seen assisting them in the field. Most of the public announcements made by TLH Military have been heavily redacted. Alliances Awards
