External HDD Not working - Hidayat - 02-17-2015
HELP NEEDED. REWARD 150K.(I may increase the reward after it's solved) I have so many important stuff in my HDD like the pictures and videos of me when I was young. I do not have any backup.
At first I started Gmod and it kept not responding. I deleted and unsubscribed all my addon and it still not responding. I try to look into the addon folder of Gmod and it's not letting me.
So I tried to safely eject it and nothing happens so I just pulled my hdd out.
After many attempts trying to access the Gmod Addon folder, I couldn't access the hdd anymore.
It kept making my Window explorer not respond.
I kept hearing this scratching like noises in my Hdd when I plug in.
How do I fix it? I'm currently using that put into freezer trick but I'm scared it may not work. So is there any other way to solve this?

Go to www.reddit.com/r/techsupport and to to their IRC Channel on the right bar, they are excelent at diagnosing errors

Do NOT use the freezer trick, it is fake, and will damage the disk even more.

Okay so the freezing method didn't work. Anyone has any other way?
