Help with some math - Voluptious - 01-07-2015 I am completely stuck on this task and need help A fictional phone company offers a plan where you get 80MB free per month, if you use more than 80 you pay 5$ per MB What is the price you pay if you use 115MB? Problem: The book claims its 2.83$, how? RE: Help with some math - Joykill - 01-07-2015 The book is wrong, in that case. Simple math. 115 (actual used data) - 80 (phone plan) = 35 extra MB 35 x 5 = $175 RE: Help with some math - ArcHammer - 01-07-2015 That book's not right... at all. I don't see how it could even have cents as it's in lots of $5. RE: Help with some math - Greed^ - 01-07-2015 2.83$? Must be some sort of mistake lol RE: Help with some math - TheImpossibleTruster5 - 01-09-2015 So I did the math, this came out. 115 (used MB)-80 (Phone plan) = 35 so if we multiply it for only 2, it = $70, but if we multiply it by $2.83 it gives us: $99.05 |
