Contraband - The Maths - Safira - 10-17-2014

Because I'm a nerd who has no social life, I figured out the maths to contraband, to help people get a rough estimation as to how long it will take to gain X amount with their contraband.

Notes: 
  • Contraband takes approximately 25 minutes to become fully drained of energy (0/5 energy)
  • The maximum drug labs can produce is $700 per refill
  • The maximum money printers can produce is $1250 per refill
  • The total of money gained with the maximum amount of printers and labs in $6000 per refill
N.B. I am not trying to encourage contrafarming or any such activity. This is a thread merely to give some statistics and to help people judge how effective their contraband usage will be.

Here's the example.


Steph wants to make $72,000 from contraband. She has 2 money printers and 5 drug labs.

[1250 x 2] + [700 x 5] = 6000 <- Amount gained each refill
72,000 ÷ 6000 = 12                     <- Number of 'refills' needed
12 x  25 = 300                       <- Number of minutes
300 ÷ 60 = 5                          <- Number of hours (conversion of minutes)

Therefore, it takes Steph 5 hours to gain $72,000.


AND THE FORMULA:


[MP x X ] + [DL x X] = Money per refill (MpR)
$ ÷ MPR = Number of refills (NoR)
NoR x 25 = M
M ÷ 6 = H

DL - Drug Labs
MP - Money Printers
H - Hours
M - Minutes
R - Refills
$ - Total Cash
X - Amount

Lol I confused myself at first. But just try it. Take the amount you want to make, and divide it by 6000. That will show you how many times you'll have to refill your contra, and to get a time scale, just times the number of refill times by 25. :3

I've worked weed out before and weed is much better provided you manage to get 10-15 pots.

You're missing some calculations, but without them, you're right.
