Why did you pull your gun out when he pulled his knife out. isn't this breaking fearRP either?

I had previously had my gun out while arresting a man.
But if a player shoots you, or stabs you in this case, fearrp is off, therefor you can return fire or run away.
Considering my life was in danger I pulled out my gun.
