Voice chat disable in-game sound. - Rylund - 09-28-2014
My Gmod have this weird bug when someone use their microphone it mutes every other sound within the game, this including other people speaking.
I only have one thing that works for me right now and that is to have voice disabled (Voice_enable 0) but that might end up in some bad situations.
I hope one of you will be able to help me with this.

Go into options and voice. Below the mic testing bar there is a box that says boost microphone gain. Uncheck the box and it seems to solve the problem.
Or try:
Right click your volume icon, go to playback devices, Communications tab, and check the lowest box for do nothing,

Sadly none of these solved this as my Gmod had Boost microphone gain off + I had it to do nothing already.
