What happened to the shout/chat box we had on the forums it was such a great feature, why was it removed?

I'm pretty sure It was removed because people complained about massive spamming and eventually they decided to take it off

I thought they had spam protection say if i enter to many times it will give me a cool down :/

Yes but people would write in caps and advertise other communities and such and it annoyed some people, so...
In addition to that, there's probably more reasons.

Also, having a chat box on a forum is a really dumb idea.
