Question about SRU's. - Dauntless - 05-24-2014

I see some people get blacklisted for patrolling as an SRU, could someone please explain what an SRU is exactly meant to do (I know they protect the president and the nexus), for example if I was an SRU and saw 2 rebels shooting at a cop (and I was inside the nexus), Could I go out (Without request) and shoot the rebels?
Sorry about this, I am new to FL Tounge

SRU agents are supposed to keep the Nexus secured.

They may only leave the Nexus if:

1. They're being called for a possible raid.
2. They experience/see violence on the streets.
3. They're needed as backup somewhere.

After you got called out and went to the location they needed you and the situation is over you'll need to return to the Nexus though. Do not stay on the streets to patrol.

Remember to not treat them as presidential guards, but treat them like the S.W.A.T or a similar specialist task force. They're there as a division of the police to attend fire-arms and high-risk situations that may be difficult for regular police to diffuse.
