Annoying issue with sound - Barkles - 03-15-2014

Hi,
So I have a problem in that when I'm in a skype call all my sound goes through my speakers except the call.

I've tried setting my heads to default playback device but it isn't working

Any suggestions goo people of FL?

I usually get the same problem, I just restart the game and it's fixed.

Yes, it's extremely annoying hearing stuff through your microphone Barkles! Unfortunately, I have no fix... but hopefully someone will; to prevent my ears from getting raped.

Try out Realtek HD Audio Manager, I had the same problem. I could also hear myself typing through my headset, got Realtek and changed a few settings. Never been better. Cheese

That's what happened to mine, what I did is I plugged the headphone and microphone jacks into my keyboard. That worked just fine for me.
That is, if you have the headphone jack plugins on your keyboard.

Fixed it!

My skype was registering My heads as "mobile phone" no idea why but I switched it speakers and it's all working Smile

Thanks for the help!

Simple as shit.

Go to volume devices. and select the speaker you want > right click > set as default communication device or something in that trend. Problem fixed
