Yes, i did do this. I attached a trailer to the back of my truck to test if i could move my food counter. Someone at the nexus asked me to remove it. That's what i did. If it's not allowed, well then sorry, didn't know that. I've seen Estleback modifying their hummers by attaching sirens on the top of them, while they we're doing border RP. Venom was with them, no punishment was made.
