Hello, as you maybe noticed. Steam is extremly slow thats why because its being DDoSed. Even valve wrote they are under DDoS but steam is currently down.
There is many sites that have wrote something about this already like here.
Just info.

Let me explain what is really going on.
A hacker that goes by the name chF or chFtheCat apparantly has a beef going with a group of hackers called ***. It all started with *** taking credits for a couple of DDoS incidents around new year which hit Electronics Arts and a youtuber called Phantoml0rd, they made the police search his house on a false report. This is chF's way of challenging them to a 1v1, so to speak.
Since Steam is ***'s preferred videogame service chF decided to simply take them down. Steam hasn't gone official with an actual DDoS attack but Steam was forced down on its knees with no options but to obey.

One of the main DDoSers in connection with chF has just been taken in. Steam also seems to be back up in the UK.

Scrap that. They just let him out. Not sure if he is trolling or not but he just tweeted about buying more bots for their botnet. If they do things can only get worse from here on.
