Got a new headset..but... - Boosted - 12-25-2013 For Christmas (Happy Christmas everyone btw!) I got a brand new Turtle Beach PX3 headset, which is cool and all until I encountered a problem with the wireless connection. The issue here is that my Xbox 360 is connected via wireless network which connects with my wireless router downstairs, but the PX3's have a wireless transmitter which are working on the same frequency as the wireless network which is causing me issues with using the headset and being able to play online at the same time. I was wondering if anybody knew of any solutions to this problem. I was thinking of trying to change the channel frequency of my wireless router but I have no idea how to do that. Any help would be appreciated. Also, please no "Ask Google" shit . RE: Got a new headset..but... - yarrrs - 12-25-2013 Turtle Beach? /me shivers. You cannot simply turn the WiHeadset on and sync it? Hmm... I'll come back here later if I find an answer. EDIT: You're better off going to the TB forums and asking instead of a community, haha. RE: Got a new headset..but... - Boosted - 12-25-2013 No need, managed to sort it out. And what's wrong with Turtle Beaches ey? RE: Got a new headset..but... - Barkles - 12-27-2013 I had a turtle headset It broke after a week Trouble with console is you only have a choice of Tb or tritton I use a tritton personally However it's down to indervidual preferences That's what's great about pc you can use any set of headphones RE: Got a new headset..but... - yarrrs - 12-27-2013 Tritton? /me shivers. Turtle's are extremely cheap, although I will admit the microphone on the PX21 is up to par. Trittons? They are not built to last. I hope you have a warranty. RE: Got a new headset..but... - Barkles - 12-27-2013 Actually I've had mine for 2 years I think It works fine, certainly more comfortable and reliable than the official ones And the sound quality despite the buzzing when it needs batteries is good So actually warranty wasn't needed But yeah they can be a bit dodgy |
