HL2.exe has stopped working - Evo2stalker - 06-01-2011
Hey guys..
How can it be that almost all of the times i try to join the server it crashes.
It crashes right after the "sending clientinformations"
It only happens in the fearless rp_evocity server :/
It only sometimes i am lucky to join..
Please help.. What should i do to solve this problem.

For me, loading a singleplayer map - then joining from that fixes this

I had this issue and fixed it by doing the following:
right click on garrysmod (in the steam menu) -> preferences -> set launch options
then put in the following
-dxlevel 90 -width 1440 -height 900
Obviously you'll want to change the width and height to the resolution of your monitor, but this should fix it.
