It is annoying that people can find out who own a base and all that yes.
but you can use like if one own a random door in a house or something to see who...

Maybe the police can get an item where where they can look up the owner of a door?

Not quite sure.
Sometimes people just buy a door and don't use it at all, and when I want to use the property behind that door, I need their name.

Meh, It is Semi-Serious I woulndt have patience to walk around asking questions if its for something as simple as a warrant. What will be next? Removing names from our Characters.
I understand the idea, however I think we should stick with how it is.

We need some way of knowing who owns the door.
And it is easier than you think to find out who owns property. Just make a search on the handy dandy police computer. This is simply another thing to nerf the police, which I completely disapprove of.

I suppose that includes camping around a doomfort with the exponentially increased likelihood of getting shot while guessing and checking for the name of the owner.

Certainly makes it more realistic I guess, but the police in real life get a search warrant on a specific building, rather than a certain person. The name being tied to the door is just a way we can search a specific property.. For example; IRL; If the police know that there 100% a drug farm is within a buiding but have no clue of who owns or uses the building, they would get a warrant on the building and destroy/confiscate the drugs. They don't have to get a warrant on the person.
So, in the game you would need the person's name in order to just raid the building. Think of their name as like a code for the warrant to search the building.
This is really hard to explain what I mean, but.. I KNOW WHAT I MEAN!

After re-consideration I have to agree with the people who -supporting the suggestion. However I think we need another way of displaying the owner since the purpose of /door sell is to sell a door not to see who owns it. Maybe by pressing F2 on an already sold door.
