I got 500 PLN (120 Euro) mandate only because I didn't clean up shit after my dog!
Seems legit?

Mandates are very high in Poland.
Oh, and it was not the police but (censure bad words) municipal police!

don't know if it classifies as littering but here in sweden we pay about 800 SEK (90€) for littering.

Apparently in the UK - "If witnessed, offenders face a fixed penalty fine of £50 or a maximum penalty on conviction of £1,000."
$50 = 57.64 euros. I doubt the £1,000 fine comes in often...
