EDIT: Checked the source of the video's and it said it was a Kinnect with Garry's Mod video. You showed me one last night and it looked awesome!

It doesn't work like that, I'm afraid. Walking is impossible and even getting basic control of yourself is really hard. The video's make it seem easy but to literally do anything besides throwing/kicking/punching/dancing you'll have to use a mouse or keyboard.
It's hella fun though bitchslappin' Kleiner for 2 hours straight.
