RE: Estleback Corporation - Link - 04-10-2017

Greetings,

There's one word that comes to mind when I think of the revelations that have occurred tonight, and that is genesis

Now, if you've been here long enough, you will have heard me talk about making Estleback into something greater that it was previously; consider this shift in management a new term - a real new beginning. Of course we are not sitting here with sticks and stones, as I have been blessed with a fleshed out template in which I wish to develop and specialise. This gives us a head start to complete greatness.

This situation also gives me the power to do what I want to. On the surface, that comment is full of arrogance, but it couldn't be further from the truth. It is full of technical ambition, pride and hours of long hard thinking.

To kick off this new chapter, I have some public announcements to make:

Blake 'Nighthawkd' Nightly has been promoted to Chief Field Operative.

Johny 'Hitman' Ive has been promoted to Senior Field Operative.

Lee 'Jonas' Wong has been promoted to Senior Field Operative for Engineering.

Both Diego 'Divey' Amorey and James 'Ecplize' Bradford have been promoted to Field Operative.

'Operation Romeo' has been initiated.

Additionally, as for those who believe 'the downfall of Estleback is coming'. Don't worry, it's not. It's a shame a lot of people have spontaneous, irrational and naive proclamations these days!

I would also like to remind all current applicants to stay put. Because you haven't yet been contacted for an interview doesn't mean that your application has been declined; as you can appreciate, this is a momentous time for the Corporation and internal factors are taking the forefront of the priority. Expect a response soon.

'Change is the law of life, and those who look only to the past or the present, are certain to miss the future.'

Kind regards,

Director of the Estleback Corporation

Operation Romeo
'Saving Noah Grayson'

Greetings,

On the 12th March 2017, Noah Grayson, our Director of Development, was kidnapped by 'Fulcrum'. Soon after the event unfolded, the lead went cold and we were unable to continue with our search. However, as of today, we have new intelligence linked to his disappearance in the form of a distress transmission that originated from the Evocity harbour. This is suspected to have come from Grayson's emergency transmitter.

We sent an Estleback drone to the transmission's approximate GPS coordinates, which is accurate within a 20 meter span. Photos taken of the location reveal a cargo ship, which is believed to be registered to a man named 'James Marpen', a political activist and suspected Fulcrum separatist.

Our mission is hostage extraction; we must search the ship, find Grayson, and get him to safety.

Estleback Operatives should check the private communication HUB when available for further briefing of this situation.

Kind regards,

Director of the Estleback Corporation

How come the constant urge to shitpost on this and other clan threads, Elad? Lay it off and keep it related to the clan world and the clan in question, rather than total off-topic subjects that seem to be of your preferences.

RE: Estleback Corporation - Link - 04-13-2017

Greetings,

Even though the evaluation of current applications hasn't been internally resumed, I am going to make an executive exception by deciding the fate of one of our outstanding applicants.

As a similar incident has happened previously, with the same subject in question, I will just repeat the prior comments with updated status:

'I am pleased to inform you that we have decided to deny Jamie Hynerman (ELAD) from joining the Estleback Corporation.

As the new Director who is now internally managing the application process of all new applicants, I am appalled and stunned as I find certain behaviours Mr Hynerman has displayed to be despicable.

He has shown blatant 'anti-Estleback' attitudes, going as far as to visibly linger and 'tut' around our employees, connoting disapproval. It is greatly odd and juxtaposeic that he suddenly wants to join us again, after hours of being an advocate against our work. Do I sense jealousy that we've managed to get a website with more than 7 comments?

On top of this, he was caught 'sh*t posting' on the Estleback Corporation website for the second time, with messages telling us that we are exploiting certain powers we posses, which come at a compromise to the well being of the citizens we are trying to serve. He has since deleted his post, as was the case previously. We cannot accept someone with a neurotic temperament, and I am a firm believer that some people should just learn to shut their gob and not spurt spontaneous quips, but rather calculated call outs.

In all of my prior experience here at Estleback, not once have I come across an applicant so pompous and rude as this. I expect all current applicants, and future ones alike, to heighten their etiquette and manners to an acceptable level during this process.'

Don't get this message wrong, however. We do accept some second chances; even though redemption is in some cases unlikely, we admire the chivalrous attempt and confidence displayed by an individual who posts a second application, even when the first went so horribly wrong. But in this case, Mr Hynerman has done nothing but reinforce my initial opinions of him.

What makes this situation even more hysterical and preposterous is that he even claimed this:

'I am writing to you to show that in the previous months since my last application I have changed, and that I am now fit and confident to try for enrollment into your fine company once more. Now, you deemed me unfit and pushy for a role in Estleback, but if you are willing to give me a second chance and read my application attached I will stand, heart in hand and accept any outcome of the application, and will take on board all feedback, you, and your representatives give me.'

I see no change in your behaviour, Mr Hynerman; I hate liars. Jamie 'ELAD' Hynerman is hereby blacklisted from the Estleback Corporation.

It doesn't need to be Easter to know when someone has a brain the size of an egg.

I hope you have a nice day,

Director of the Estleback Corporation

RE: Estleback Corporation - ELAD - 04-13-2017

Well I have in fact embraced the outcome of my application so do not use my word against me for one and am pleased that I have been relieved of the deceptive public image your corrupt company holds. I myself now see that this corporation is no more than a group of thugs and thoughtless criminals who have no respect for the people.

Let this treacherous company be relieved from my nightmares.
Regards,
Aiden Hyneman

[EDIT]
OOC:
Also as you manage to fail to keep OOC shit OOC I will have ago at your incompetence myself.
First of all my clan was open for a matter of days just as a test run and yours has been open for years. Yes, I am jealous that Floodify has made such a big company, and I used to look up to the clan. Joining Estleback was my number one goal as it seemed to be so well organized.
But as you refuse to keep IC and pitifully spit on a project I threw together in below an hour to see the response what would happen when a low player made a clan. (the clan was never rped or created ingame in the first place).
I see that this is coming to a brick wall, and fast. I predict that under the new management and regime this clan will not be the most powerful for long, see already it is falling behind.

RE: Estleback Corporation - Link - 04-14-2017

Elad,

I was hoping that I wouldn't have to continue this, but your recent forum post edit shows you still don't get it.

I myself have have started two failed clans, but each time, instead of hating on those more successful than myself, I used it as a chance to improve and learn from my mistakes - that is the real route to success. The reason I make Steve's responses so harsh is that, even in real life, I am a bit put off and annoyed at your comments, as they are mainly never constructive and are seemingly put in place just to aggravate. On top of this, I have the hope that you will see that there is actually a consequence for irrational posting on the internet, as many people seem to think there isn't.

Additionally, you are applying to join us. I am completely within my right to respond to someone if they insult us within our own territory, and they expect to be accepted as one of our own.

Your comments are purely unwarranted and random, and that is my biggest problem with what you are doing; it spreads negative vibes with no beneficiaries.

Furthermore, you can't say that that the reason you created the clan was 'to see the response what would happen when a low player made a clan'... you just, don't do that; you set up a clan to role play, not to test sociology. This is further reinforced by the fact you bumped it twice with 'improvements', attempting to get attention and attract members. I don't care that your clan failed, but as soon as you start criticising us out of no where, of course I'm going to look for a cause of it; I was right, as you admitted.

As for your claim that we fail to keep OOC in OOC, you signed up as 'Jamie Hynerman', and are therefore dealt by with by Steve Burwin. I try to stay as in-character as possible, however it is hard to sometimes considering the grey area that is the forums. I consider clan pages websites, in which people can post 'comments'.

If anyone doesn't understand the difference between IC and OOC, it's you, as last time Steve Burwin denied you, you threatened to contact Valve and have me banned for harassment.

There seems to be a problem with the community these days not being able to differentiate IC from OOC, as has been the case previously. It's such a shame, as this fact eliminates space for in-character political and confrontational speech without someone getting offended.

If you want to continue this conversation, please drop me a forum PM and I'll be glad to talk.

Operation Romeo

Greetings,

On the 12th March 2017, Noah 'Noda' Grayson, our Director of Development, was kidnapped by 'Fulcrum'. Soon after the event unfolded, the lead went cold and we were unable to continue with our search. However, as of Wednesday, we gatherd new intelligence linked to his disappearance, in the form of a distress transmission that originated from the Evocity harbour. This was later confirmed to have come from Grayson's emergency transmitter.

Before Operation Romeo, we sent an Estleback drone to the transmission's approximate GPS coordinates, which is accurate within a 20 meter span. Photos taken of the location revealed a cargo ship, which is registered to a man named 'James Marpen', a political activist and Fulcrum separatist.

Mission Debrief: 2017-04-14

[spoiler=Debrief]

ATTENDED OPERATIVES: Steve 'Link' Burwin, Ivan 'I.T' Tempski, Matthew 'Jazz' Harper, Matt 'Panda' Velazquez and Diego 'Divey' Amorey.
TIME SPAN: 8:20 PM to 9:39 PM, ZULU TIME
LOCATION: EvoCity V4b1, Michigan, United States of America, Harbour
SITUATION: STABLE
RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: CLASSIFIED

The events explained in this debrief follow a chronological order. Attached to this document is extracted footage from my bodycam, and as this is public draft, certain content has been edited and removed. This is due to the fact it displays information that could be of potential use in an attack against the Estleback Corporation.

At 8:20 PM ZULU, we met in the city car park, situated next to the office complex. This was due to some complications regarding real estate. After briefing the operatives, we made our way to the Evocity harbour in a Range Rover convoy. We parked our vehicles at the front of the harbour and made our way to the side of the target location. After making it past mobile security, we climbed onto the boat using a winch left for us by our scout, SFO Ive.

We regrouped on the boat, and orders were issued to find Grayson. He was hastily found, as his location was very close to the infiltration point. However, after a quick look, I found that Grayson was wired up to an explosive device. We needed to disarm it. I then decided that we should attempt to get to the bridge of the ship, as that is the most likely location for someone who knows the deactivation code to be situated.

Operative Panda was given the task to stalk the Fulcrum sniper who was surveying the boat. He would give us a signal every time the sniper wasn't watching our position, which allowed us to travel through the containers undetected.

When we got to the bridge, we found that it was empty. However, we also found that the controls didn't work, which suggests it is a phoney and has another purpose.

What was looking like a bad sitation quickly turned around, as when we returned back to Grayson's location, a Fulcrum agent was spotted. He was chased down, and we brought him to the bomb to defuse it. However, he did not know the code; we had to go for it. After waking up Grayson, we got him out of the chair, which set the 5 second timer for the bomb. No one was injured in the explosion, however our cover was compromised, and Fulcrum reinforcements swiftly arrived.

After taking down all tangos with no casualties, we extracted Grayson to our convoy and took him to our outer city HQ at the MTL complex.

After nursing Grayson back to considerable health, Fulcrum agents were spotted outside of our HQ. They opened fire. Again, this resulted in an Estleback victory. It was found that Grayson had a tracker implanted in his arm, which is suspected to have been fitted while he was unconscious; the hunter became the hunted.

After this, the perimeter was secured and the Fulcrum organisation was repelled.

Be prepared for an announcement concerning organisational factors within the Corporation tomorrow.

Director of the Estleback Corporation
Steve 'Link' Burwin, Estleback Corporation Commander

RE: Estleback Corporation - Link - 04-16-2017

Greetings,

As promised, here are the organisational announcements I have to make.

Firstly, after his great escape from Fulcrum captivity, Noah 'Noda' Grayson has been promoted to Deputy Director. He will help me ensure smooth flow in operation, as his prior experience with us is invaluable.

Additionally, I hereby announce the start of 'Estleback Weekly'. This initiative sees to have a large Estleback event, like Operation Romeo, occur every week! Keep your eyes peeled on the private forum and in-game to see us in action.

Moreover, there has been a change to our 'private' forum; it is not longer 100% private! We have opened up a public area to help with communication. If you wish to post an application to join us, you are to post it in the 'applications' area of our public official forum. Additionally, exclusive announcements will be made in the 'announcements' section of the forum. I am greatly excited as this prospect will heighten our efficiency and organisation. I lend this idea greatly to our ex-Director and Founder, 'Anthony Valaris', who headed this concept in its infancy.

Following these external changes, I would ask all Operatives to kindly look in the classified area of the private forum. Here, you will find multiple new initiatives that have been launched to target certain strengths and weaknesses of our corporation. However, one of these initiatives mirrors into the external world, and that is 'employee of the month'. Suggested by my advisors, one loyal member of our organisation will gain the award for their service and persistence in the past months duty.

Additionally, we've unfortunately had to let go of operative Stafford (RockDude). He will be missed.

Once again, I would like to thank everyone that participated in, and organised, 'Operation Romeo' on Friday. It was brilliant!

Spoiler: Operation Romeo Credits
Jonas - Building all of the dupes (even ones that weren't used ;p) and organising the enemy faction.
Hitman - Assisting with unused material and lending ideas.
Fulcrum Agents - For being there to try and stop us in our objective!
Estleback Operatives - For turning up and making the event what it was!

Happy Easter!

Director of the Estleback Corporation

RE: Estleback Corporation - DVN - 04-17-2017

Since the new applications section as opened, does this effect any current applications that are awaiting review here or does it apply to any new applicants from here on out?
