Title of Suggestion: adding v2p to the build server
Description: Don't know why this wasn't added in the first place really but it would be useful.
Why: All the other maps are on it, why not this one?

They are probably fixing other stuff first, it's a new server and a new map.

This is a bad idea, not alone cause of the fact that someone could be building something, but also the fact that it could easily be abused, just like everything else.

The current vote system is worse in my opinion. Your above problem occurs during the map vote system now.
