Annoying brightness/glow on bright surfaces - Knight - 11-13-2012
Sup guys. Been trying to look for an answer on why some surfaces have been awfully... bright? glowy? since one of the previous updates. Never was like this before. I don't have HDR on. Playing with the video settings in the option menu doesn't seem to fix it.

I have exactly the same problem, when I drive in white cars its like being flashed in Counter-Strike or like being aimed on with a Flashlight in Battlefield 3, its rather annoying.

Was digging through some HDR/bloom related commands and I found the cause of the problem. Set pp_bloom to 0. This annoyed me to no end.

There should be a process tab in the 'Q' Menu, which allows you to lower/higher change these options.
