Screen issue. - Callos - 10-31-2012 Well I have a problem on my screen where every time something moves green lines highlight the body of the object. Can anyone help? I have tried turning refresh rate up, it is an expensive screen which can also run 3D. It is starting to really annoy me now. Here is a video showing it (it is most obvious on the car) It may not look like much but it is worse when you are actually playing it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kECuo6_OEDg&feature=youtu.be Better evidence: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5TwfNFjpXM&feature=youtu.be RE: Screen issue. - Infernaw - 11-01-2012 Not sure if blind or can't actually see any problem? RE: Screen issue. - Zealord - 11-01-2012 This probably has to do with your monitor. Because the green line problem seems like the screen is not in-tune with your video card. There's nothing wrong with the video, haha. Here's a checklist, with a few possible fixes. - Are the cables plugged in correctly and do they fit tightly into the computer/screen? - Are you using 3D mode for some reason? If so turn it off. - Did the monitor come with a driver you needed to install? - Do you have to minimum video card requirements to use the monitor? - If so, is your video card driver up to date? - Is your computer configured to display on that screen and is it recognized as a PC screen in the configuration? - Have you tried fiddling around with the options on the monitor? - Is your monitor on 50Hz? Set it to 60. If problem still persists, PM me with a DxDiag (Go to Home Button -> Run... or type in search bar -> type dxdiag and hit enter -> Save All files -> Save it to a location -> Open the txt file and copy the text) and a full model number/ID/name/product information of your monitor. I will try these things soon, I asked my brother who studies computer science, he said it was called ghosting and probably because of a dodgy unit I got. Thank you! |
