hl2.exe virus detection - Theblackshadowofgod - 10-25-2012

Hello,

So since today when I got back from school my bitdefender suddenly detected hl2.exe as a virus.

Which causes the following: bitdefender removes the virus, gmod updates itself. Bitdefender removes the virus, gmod updates itself. And so on...

I could add it as an exclusion of course to not detect it anymore. But I'm just wondered why it detects it as a virus.

Anybode else having this problem?

Maybe gmod 13 was a virus! Nah, I don't know, but probably something to do with the new gmod. Would be logical.

FML. Now it's also happening for CSS...
Edit: And now the files don't auto update anymore. Also not when I launch gmod or css.

Garrysmod may trigger it because garry encrypted some of the binary modules to help prevent cheat creation.

Would someone mind uploading their CSS and gmod HL2.exe for me, please?

I need this hl2.exe shit right now.
Don't even try giving me a dropbox url, cause this stupid program is scanning everything. Even when I disable it.
