Giving a "Boost" - Dr Tomorrow - 10-21-2012 So I had this questions which I always forgot to ask Sometime this summer me and Killjoy were SS operatives The villa 3 had a situation It's back windows are pretty damn low And if players would give each other a "boost" it was easy to climb there So we did it Later on There was another situation. Same in villa 3 This time Killjoy decided to use a wooden plank as a bridge It was landed with a straight angle, not up And we walked across it like a bridge Basically I'm curious Is giving each other a boost (standing on a player model) is a prop climbing? RE: Giving a "Boost" - Catkillerfive - 10-21-2012 No (it is teamwork :3) RE: Giving a "Boost" - Dr Tomorrow - 10-21-2012 (10-21-2012, 12:29 AM)Catkillerfive Wrote: No (it is teamwork :3) That's what I thought :] But in another sever people got banned for that stating that "player model = NPC under control = prop". Same goes to cars So I wanted to make sure it isn't same in FL RE: Giving a "Boost" - Jamie - 10-21-2012 From what I know, It's not Prop climbing, As long as you roleplay it and don't use more than one player to climb up onto something, Then it's fine... You'd have to ask an admin. RE: Giving a "Boost" - Decay - 10-21-2012 Let's raid the president > Human ladder ALL they way up to his office! Haha imagne that >.< RE: Giving a "Boost" - Dr Tomorrow - 10-21-2012 (10-21-2012, 12:35 AM)Discord Wrote: Let's raid the president > Human ladder ALL they way up to his office! I don't think it'll be enoug in V2d Not even talking about V33X here ._. RE: Giving a "Boost" - Toxic - 10-21-2012 Same idea as if you were to climb onto your vehicle to get over a fence. You can easily do that in real life, but not on Fearless. Unless of course the administration team all of a sudden stopped having a problem with it. RE: Giving a "Boost" - DoomDude1 - 10-21-2012 We actually made a nice, big, 8 man pyramid with 3 admins on. Also, I have never heard of any problems of getting a slight "boost" from your teammates. RE: Giving a "Boost" - Dr Tomorrow - 10-21-2012 I am not talking about man Eiffel Tower here Just like Doomdude said, I meant a slight (crouched) boost only RE: Giving a "Boost" - GhostRider - 10-21-2012 I can't see any problem with that as long it's part of the RP. |
