when i join the server it lags out and says hl2.exe has stopped working. Iv'e tried literally everything so what should i do??

It's something in GMod that got broken again by an update I believe.
Try typing vgui_allowhtml 0 in the console before joining.
Seems to help.

The only fix that is known is that command I believe. It seems to have fixed it for most people

Try to write vgui_allowhtml 0 in console and join server.

I just figured out that Generation covered what I was going to say. "vgui_allowhtml 0"; Type that into your console and you should be able to join the server without issue.
