Problem regarding connection to server - solka - 04-29-2012
I'm not sure whats going on ,but when I want to connect to server it downloads everything etc. and then there is some error in which as a result it turns off gmod with info 'hl2.exe stoped working'.
Other servers are working well and last time this rp server with evocity v2 was ok 1-2 weeks ago in other words I haven't got any problems.

when I had this error, I completly uninstalled gmod, Deleted the whole folder then I downloaded the contect pack.

Open Library, right click on Gmod and select the "Set launch options" tab. Enter these without the "
"+r_hunkalloclightmaps 0 -heapsize 3145728 +cl_cmdrate 100 +myinfo_bytes 2000 +cl_updaterate 101 +rate 30000 -dxlevel 80 -w 1920 -h 1080 +mat_antialias 8 +mat_forceaniso 16"
-w 1920 -h 1080 is my default resolution. Use one that your monitor can support.
