FL Events Server
Hello everyone!
In just over a month, 2 years will have passed since the server first closed down for relaunch. When the server first came down, I wanted to make some sort of event server where we could run an event/mini event each month to keep the community together while the relaunch work went on in the background. When we stopped paying for the game server hosting, I thought I couldn't do this idea and gave up/forgot about it.
It wasn't until the last couple of months I was remotivated to run a server while the main server was down after talking to many community members and realizing we could just run the server on our own personal server hosting.
After getting my plan past the rest of management, I am happy to announce the FL Events Server!
Below is some information on how the Events Server will be run. No doubt I will forget something or explain something horribly here, so feel free to leave feedback and comments on the thread below! 
Special thanks: Luna and frost for helping me greatly with setting all of this up. They've both been a great help in everything from planning to setting up the actual servers.
Details
Since this is NOT a relaunch, the server will be open temporarily. There will be an events schedule posted which will show when the server is open. This also allows time for staff to work on development/testing of the relaunch, to build events, or just to take a break.
Prizes, such as different item bundles, in-game cash, donator and roleplay points will be up for grabs during different events on the server. In big events and when stated, these prizes will also carry over to relaunch!
I'm also planning on running other "promotions," such as a funny clips/FL video competition to help with the media push when we're closer to relaunch.
When will it be open?
Monday next week - check the --> discord <-- announcements channel for updates.
What's the first event?
4 player team agg RP event, more information to follow.
What map will we be using?
We used V4B1 for testing, but we can run a map vote if people aren't happy!
What version of FL will we be using?
I have a 2021 and a 2015 version. We will play on the 2021 version first.
Will there be a build server?
Yes.
How long will FL Events run for?
The events server will only close if we are a few weeks from the relaunch.
Are EC/developer/staff applications open?
Yes, they've technically been open this whole time. If anyone enjoys playing the events server, volunteers to keep its momentum going are more than welcome!

I’d consider not to focus too much on playercount - and especially not gauge this incentives success on it.
