Hey David,
To solve your issue you want to go to the User CP, the uppermost left link in the Fearless navigation bar. After that, you can find a tab on your left side that features links to edit your username, avatar and your signature.

Yes but when I get there this thing pops up and its a black box with a x in it. If I remove it, it comes back and I can't put a picture, etc. in without it saving. So I don't know what to do.
