Sure i see the point of reopening the case, but also, that was a long time ago, and with the understaffing we have on the servers(atleast v33x) we don't need moderators to be demoted. Suarez resigned, time passed, and now he's a staff member again. I believe anyone grows as a person as time goes, no need for retroactive punishments.
Time passed? There was about a 2/3 week space between his resignation and reinstitution into the staff team, not that long lol
also who says he's going to get demoted? he may well be innocent o.o

I don't see why there is a discussion or a question mark as to if the case should be opened. Of course it should be opened, but that doesn't mean anyone is guilty, it just means it should be looked over and dealt with like any abuse case.
There is no harm in following procedure.

Yes, this case should be opened again. Why?
Because the case was closed due to Suarez leaving, which means that the final touch was never in play, it was only closed and 'semi-accepted', due to Suarez leaving. A proper final verdict should be applied onto this case, or re-open it and discuss this further on.
