I've experienced this too but it doesn't just apply to the space bar but if you press any buttons within the first few seconds of joining it will automatically rejoin you. This has only started happening recently and I can't find anything in the gamemode that would cause this, sorry :\

The function was made, I believe, for when the gamemode breaks. It makes it easier for players to get back.

If you bop me Dev I can easily sort this out. I been doing some online Glua courses because I wanna support the community that much and yeah should be dead easy to fix.
