What about prefabricated structures for builds?
Take a 6x6 plate and 'hollow' it out to accomodate window and door frames.
The same could be repeated for either sides of a house in varied shapes and sizes .

Not really done any work on this lately due to having animation work to be completed and wanting to game

That's not a bad idea to do as a separate pack, I'll have a play around later and see what I can come up with. I needed to create an environment in UDK anyway so this could kill two birds with one stone.

You'd probably be doing yourself a favor if it was all compatible with the current 'plate packs' that are out there.
The windows could all be one 'prop' that you just easy precision into position... So a grand total of two props for all that - discounting the door of course.
