I think i know what happened. What he did was, he came to earth (as you may have guessed) and was about to kill us, and suddenly his girlfriend called him on his amazing "God phone", and then she said that she wanted to break up with him, so god started crying, and ran off, and forgot to kill us;
And thats how we were "left below" and god forgot to kill us!

I survived too, so did 7,000,000,000 other people. Please, digging a hole and hiding? I just sat down in class, writing, and survived. Damn the power of maths.
