You purchased it off another player, not the F1 store. The item will go back to how it was before where it existed but you cannot use it, only give it to others or drop it. If you want I can add a sell button for 50% of marketprice. This will give you $5.

I think it's more you purchased it for a large price which was a stupid idea considering the ability to use it was a bug; the market price on april fools day was $10 so the sell price would only be $5, that's simple maths.
I think we should be able to use it but it be a collectors item if you like, similar to the BMW

Just because you “want” it, doesn’t mean you get your own way, it was a bug and clearly stated.
You’re not entitled to keep it or get compensation, nor do you decide whether you do.
