As I said, try to delete GMOD manually(This means delete its all folders)

Try opening Garry's Mod in developer mode, that worked for me when I used to crash.

My post generally (read up) method has better results as if you got a bad DL oitll somewhat clone from steams downloading folder

I have the exact same problem. Loading screens just keeps getting stuck on the end of the Workshop Complete loading bar and then the game crashes.
