This makes it a little more unrealistic when all you can do is that ^^^^^^

Argh... why no work!
The problem with this is you need to rely on the user that is making that advert to give their details, which doesn't always happen.
Thus a system that shows the users ID would be helpful.

There are two reasons why I want this added. Firstly so its friendly to those new to the server and might forget to put their information in. Also, it allows people to put more details on what they're offering.

I agree, it leaves much more space to add content to help advertise or describe your business/service.
