If you're paying monthly - ask for 1/30th of the money back - as this has been an entire day without the server.
If it's like 70 or 80 dollars a month, you're looking at like 2-3 dollars back, per day.
Better than NO dollars a day

I bought a second dedi at a completely different host. It got recommend by a friend of mine. First we wait for the normal server to come up again and later we try if the new dedi is good enough for our servers.
Still no ETA.
