This didn't help me when i tried this :S but i'll try again since I have a lot of problems when I try to join :/

I send my crash dump and it's probably caused by Direct X 9
-dxlevel 81 in the launch options did the trick for me. This does decrease the quality a little bit, but makes the game more stable it seems.
