Yeah I think s.J is right. Think of it this way. If people died every 2 seconds and people were born every 3, the worlds populations would be going down as we spoke, but its not, Its like taking 2 steps forward and 1 back, although its 3 steps forward and 2 back.

But 4 people are born every second ...So in that 10 seconds when 1 person died, another 40 are born
