I use Xfire, Its a site you sign up to, then when ingame press Scroll lock + V and off you go!
It can lag the game at times so I start off by recording a 5 sec video after loading a game up so it doesnt lag later on.
All my videos use Xfire, check my youtube channel.

Id rate it better than fraps due to the fact I never got used to fraps.
