You couldn't have "checked the coding for it", only like 10% of it is clientside html and javascript.
I'll explain how it works.
When you enter your login details, it uses ajax to submit a post request to the backend scripts with your username and password
The backend script then queries

If you really don't trust us that much, change your password, validate then change back again.

It says im not whitelisted when trying to join the server, even though when i go to link my account it says the account is whitelisted. What is happening? can you help?
