[Solved] Timing out when joining in - Ethan Bradberry - 03-01-2017
Basically in the past few days my game as been timing out when I join in. When I load in everything is fine, but within a second the red text (timed out) pops up. Rejoining usually does the same and it will take along time (4 or more tries) to join in.

Hi Ethan,
This happens to a lot of people including myself. I thinks there's a problem with the server it self. There isn't much you can do about it.

Hello, I know that this can be an issue for many people, myself not included, but I would like to ask for your computer specs if you don't mind.
In the meantime we can try a few tricks. First one is to Verify the Game Cache

Next, we can remove all addons that are not used on fearless. I would remove all addons and then add back those that are required.

If all of these don't help, then try restarting your game with new(redownloaded) addons and texture packs

I am on a not very good laptop, can still run Gmod alright.
I'm not sure it is my laptop as I have never had this problem before...

Issue has not been fixed.
I time out while loading in, the grey box will appear.
Then I try joining again, I'll load in and then red text will appear
This usually happens 2 times before I actually can get in the game.
