HL Ep1+2 Content Packs not working? - odannyboy - 07-28-2013
Hey there
I've been trying to install the content packs of HL1 ep 1 and 2, so I can play v_2p properly. However, i'm still getting missing textures.
My Garry's Mod has been installed in my steamapps/<username> folder, and not steamapps/common folder, is this not normal? Do I need to reinstall gmod then try again? I drag the material folder and all the other files into the steamapps/<username>/garrysmod/garrysmod/addons folder, but it doesn't work.
Help please.

Try Degragging it
Try Reinstalling HL episodes
Css is the main thing u need for CityRp
Try installing Material fix?
Just install Every link on the download page?
That should fix it

This is my fourth attempt. I have CSS, but do I need to do some texture process thing? I've vaguely read about it.
What's this material fix?
I have installed everything.

You're installing it into the wrong directory, i believe.
steam/steamapps/common/garrysmod/garrysmod/addon
It was changed fairly recently, but that goes for all new installations.

Well, its where my gmod is installed, so I should reinstall?

If you look in your common folder, you'll see gmod in there too. Check it

There isn't. This is what I'm saying, my gmod is installed in my username folder, and it always has been, it was never moved.
