Have to DL content every time I join - CPT Donk - 06-21-2013
For some reason, every time I join the server, I have to download everything again. Why is it doing this?
I installed the "flcontent" in D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\zedonk8\garrysmod\garrysmod\addons (for some reason my Gmod isn't in common?)
I have done the same with v2d and it still downloads that (I put it in maps, of course.)

Your gmod folder should be in common folder. I think that's the problem.

I think so, too. I'm not sure how to get it to switch over though. I'm verifying game cache ATM.

Yes, I have read over that post but it doesn't quite help my situation. Anyways, fixed it and all is good now.

Not everyones switched to the common folder, mine is still running from the old location fine. I am guessing you had to install the content pack and merge it with the garrysmod models and materials folder
